De la professionnalisation en éducation : regard sur les directions d’établissement

Abstract
Au cours de la dernière décennie, la professionnalisation du personnel d’encadrement de l’éducation, comme celle des enseignants, est devenue une rhétorique inhérente aux réformes visant la transformation des services publics dans une perspective de modernisation. Cette tendance suit des paradigmes à la fois idéologiques et pragmatiques qui ne sont pas sans s’inspirer du New Public Management, mais aussi, sous certains aspects, de l’évolution des conceptions et des compétences des personnes qui œuvrent au sein de ces organisations. Ce texte, après avoir porté une attention à la problématique de la notion de professionnalisation, aborde celle-ci dans le cadre des nouvelles régulations auxquelles est confronté le pilotage du système éducatif, particulièrement son personnel d’encadrement. Quelques pistes d’action sont proposées sur les sentiers de la professionnalisation des directions d’établissement.
