Abstract
Lorsqu’il faut parler de la mort à l’école, l’enseignant ne sait pas toujours comment répondre aux questions de l’élève. Pour réaliser ma recherche sur le terrain (en 1999), j’ai mis en place neuf groupes en « recherche-formation existentielle » sur le thème de la mort avec des enfants âgés de 6 à 12 ans, à Paris et en région parisienne. Cette recherche visait à mettre en oeuvre avec les professionnels de l’éducation, une fois par semaine (pendant 1 à 2 mois), un groupe d’expression sur la mort. Les activités étaient multiples. Au cours de mon étude, les enfants ont eu l’occasion de résoudre des problèmes relatifs au deuil et à la perte et d’apprivoiser la mort.
