Abstract
La culture informationnelle est devenue un concept primordial pour les professionnels de la bibliotheconomie et des sciences de l'information. Cependant, la culture de l'information doit prendre en consideration les acquis afin de pouvoir relever les defis d'une communaute mondiale. Cet article soutient qu'un nouveau cadre est necessaire afin de transformer le debat sur la culture informationnelle, de la comprehension conceptuelle a un modele qui identifie l'influence de la culture dans la maniere dont les individus pensent et saisissent l'information, de meme que dans la facon avec laquelle l'information est comprise et utilisee. Une pedagogie visant un modele de la culture informationnelle basee sur la theorie de l'apprentissage constructiviste est proposee aux professionnels de BSI.
