Arranjos Produtivos, Desenvolvimento Local, Relações Interorganizacionais: O APL das Rochas Ornamentais do Espírito Santo

Abstract
O artigo visa entender o perfil das relações entre as instituições de apoio ao arranjo produtivo de rochas ornamentais do Estado do Espírito Santo, tomando como principal referencial a teoria de redes de Castells (1999). Foi utilizado o estudo de caso como forma de confrontar a visão teórica com os dados obtidos. Visando verificar a presença da lógica organizacional da rede no caso estudado, foram escolhidos alguns atributos de uma organização com base em rede para Castells (1999), quais sejam a existência de um alto grau de interação entre as entidades de apoio, a percepção da interdependência existente entre as mesmas, sua forma de comunicação e sua atuação como centros promotores de interação em rede e de desenvolvimento regional. Os principais resultados apontam que existem sérias limitações quanto à presença dos atributos de uma organização com base em rede na região estudada, principalmente no que se refere ao pensamento necessário para o estabelecimento de relações em rede.
