Abstract
연구목적 본 연구는 사설 스포츠를 통한 도박 사이트 전체 가입자 중 20대 대학생이34%의 가장 높은 비율을 차지한다는 연구결과를 토대로 대학생의 사설 스포츠도박을 감소시키기 위한 방법을 모색하기 위하여, 대학생의 스포츠토토 경험유형에 따른 도박중독 심각성을 분석하였다. 특히 스마트폰의 발달을 통하여 불법 스포츠토토에 대한 접근성이 높아져 문제성도박자로 전략하는 사람들이 늘어나고 있으나 이에 연구가 부족한 실정에 있다. 이를 위해서 대학생들의 스포츠토토 경험유형에 따른 도박중독 심각성 및 그에 따른 자아존중감, 내외통제성의차이를 살펴보도록 하였다. 연구방법 서울 및 경기 지역의 대학교를 중심으로 재학 혹은 휴학하는 학생 193명(남=91, 여=102)을 대상으로 설문지를 통해 분석을 하였다. 설문지는 인구통계학적 질문, 사설 스포츠도박경험에 대한 질문, CPGI(Canadian Problem Gambling Index), 자아존중감척도(이영자,1996), 내외통제성 척도(윤유경, 1996)가 포함된 총 59문항으로 이루어져있다. 연구결과 대학생들의 스포츠토토의 구매에 대한 경험을 묻는 질문에서는 총 설문대상자 193명중 33명(17.1%)이 참여 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 스포츠토토 경험 유무에 따른 도박중독 수준을 알아보기 위하여 교차분석을 실시하였다. 경험자 33명 중 28명(84.8%)이 CPGI 중위험 도박 이상으로 나타났다. 반면 스포츠토토를 경험하지 않은 대학생의 경우 19명(11.9%)으로 나타나 통계적으로 유의한 수준(X2=79.081, p<.001)으로 나타났다. 반면 불법스포츠 도박 경험에 따른 도박중독 수준에 따른 교차분석에서는 통계적으로 유의한 수준의 차이는 타나나지 않았다. 가설에서 제시한 스포츠토토경험 유무에 따른 자아존중감, 내외통제성에 대한 차이를 있을 것으로 예상되었으나 t검정을 실시한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 기타 스포츠토토 경험에 대한 실태를 조사하였다.
