LANXESS Greater China achieved double-digit growth in sales for 2009 despite the difficult economic environment in the first quarter of 2009. Sales for the region increased by 14.85% to roughly EUR 584 million. A continued robust demand from the rubber business units and Semi-Crystalline Products business unit specially contributed to this performance.
