Perception et gestion des espaces littoraux préservés : l’apport des études de fréquentation (Nord et Languedoc Roussillon, France)

Abstract
À partir de deux projets distincts dans lesquels des études de fréquentation ont été menées entre 2009 et 2014 dans deux territoires différents (Nord et Languedoc-Roussillon), une analyse croisée a été réalisée en mobilisant les résultats concernant la fréquentation des espaces littoraux naturels et préservés par les usagers. Apparaissent ainsi des différences et similitudes entre les visiteurs des neuf lieux étudiés, celles-ci déterminées à partir de variables telles que les professions et catégories socioprofessionnelles, l’âge, le genre, le type de public auquel ils appartiennent (population locale, population touristique...), ainsi que les perceptions qu’ils ont dans ces espaces littoraux. La connaissance des modes de gestion de ces lieux et les résultats des 356 questionnaires effectuées auprès des usagers mettent en exergue l’influence des aménagements et des choix de gestion sur le ressenti des usagers par rapport au lieu.
