Abstract
À partir du cas des Athapaskan tutchone, démonstration montrant que l’inégalité sociale peut être instaurée dans les sociétés de chasseurs-cueilleurs les plus simples ; celles qui n’ont aucune capacité réelle de stocker, aucun système de redistribution, et qui ne sont pas l’objet de pressions démographiques. Esquisse de la nouvelle problématique qui s’impose, dès lors, quant à l’étude de l’origine de l’inégalité sociale en général.
