Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We present a measurement of the asymmetry ${A}_{CP}$ between same-sign inclusive dilepton samples ${\ensuremath{\ell}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{+}$ and ${\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ ($\ensuremath{\ell}=e$, $\ensuremath{\mu}$) from semileptonic $B$ decays in $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Upsilon}}(4S)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}B\overline{B}$ events, using the complete data set recorded by the BABAR experiment near the $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Upsilon}}(4S)$ resonance, corresponding to $471\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ pairs. The asymmetry ${A}_{CP}$ allows comparison between the mixing probabilities $\mathcal{P}({\overline{B}}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{B}^{0})$ and $\mathcal{P}({B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\overline{B}}^{0})$, and therefore probes $CP$ and $T$ violation. The result, ${A}_{CP}=[\ensuremath{-}3.9\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}3.5(\text{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.9(\text{syst})]\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$, is consistent with the standard model expectation.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
