Le contexte actuel de globalisation et d’ouverture des marchés offre un terrain intéressant pour l’étude des transformations que les entreprises mettent en place pour se positionner favorablement dans ce nouvel ordre concurrentiel. Notre travail a pour objectif de s’attarder sur les déclencheurs, les modalités et les piliers de l’évolution d’un modèle d’affaires de manufacturier à designer-importateur d’une entreprise québécoise de mode féminine. À l’aide d’une étude de cas approfondie et longitudinale, nous montrerons le rôle du contexte, de la vision du dirigeant, des ressources relationnelles et du temps dans le pilotage d’une telle transformation.
