Abstract
Approximately a year ago I referred to raw material prices and transformation as two of the most prominent challenges facing the feed industry. The situation with regard to raw material prices is now much worse, and transformation in agriculture is not gaining the momentum needed. To make matters worse, closer to home, the broiler industry is suffering from imported products dumped on our market, and if this trend continues we may soon see the end of this industry with devastating effects on a number of others.
