Elle pourrait sans inconvénient être recommandée comme un manuel assez commode, dont il n’existe pas actuellement d’équivalent en français (mais le grand livre d’Émile Mâle sur l’art religieux après le Concile de Trente rend encore à cet égard les meilleurs services, avec un souffle, une inspiration, une maturation qui font assurément défaut ici)....
