Abstract
Le présent article aborde l’écriture de l’auteur marocain Abdellah Taïa. Il analyse, dans un premier lieu, quelques aspects liés à l’écriture intimiste dans son rapport avec l’épineuse question de l’homosexualité. Par quels procédés cette question est-elle abordée ? Dans un second temps, il analyse la mise en procès des mœurs et de la déterritorialisation. Nous verrons comment l’auteur s’en prend aux mœurs hostiles à sa différence et sa « gayitude », avant de nous attarder sur les tribulations de certains personnages de Taïa aux prises à la fois avec le désir de se libérer du territoire asphyxiant de l’Orient et avec les fausses promesses de l’Occident.
