Abstract
Dans les romans qui racontent une histoire de famille, il s’agit d’abord d’une prise de conscience individuelle. Dans d’autres contextes, ceux ou un groupe social ou national se trouve face a un autre qui lui sert d’opposant et de miroir, il est plus facile d’insister sur les differences (neanmoins, une telle approche facilite aussi la creation de conflits). Dans le cadre d’une histoire familiale, cet autre est en meme temps inevitablement une partie de moi-meme, un autre visage de soi dont il est difficile de s’affranchir. Le lien du sang rend le rapport entre les generations plus complexe et souvent plus douloureux, meme si le rapport n’est pas proprement dit conflictuel.
