Abstract
O artigo pretende analisar as imbricações entre artes visuais e linguagem cinematográfica no pensamento acerca de uma estética videográfica. Toma-se como objeto analítico o projeto “365 Day Project”, de Jonas Mekas. Partindo da afirmação do autor Philippe Dubois de que os conceitos da linguagem cinematográfica não são suficientes para problematizar as práticas videográficas, a pesquisa utiliza conceitos comuns à teoria da imagem e à filosofia da arte, especificamente os conceitos de “altermodernismo”, desenvolvido por Nicolas Bourriaud e de “gesto”, desenvolvido por Giorgio Agamben, para discutir o modo como a relação entre as obras videográficas e os dispositivos audiovisuais se torna produtora de subjetividades em um campo híbrido à linguagem do cinema e das artes visuais.
