The 9th International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV2016) took place under the high patronage of the Presidency of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay in Montevideo, Uruguay, from 1 to 3 March 2016. It was co-organized by the Agency for Electronic Government and Information Society of Uruguay (AGESIC) and the United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV) in collaboration with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
