Abstract
Le présent article présente une analyse de l’impact du sous-financement des universités sur le développement des bibliothèques au cours de la décennie 1980. Il montre le caractère insuffisant des stratégies utilisées et des efforts déployés jusqu’à ce jour pour tenter d’affronter la situation, et démontre la nécessité de poursuivre avec encore plus de vigueur les mesures amorcées récemment en vue d’un plein redressement budgétaire.
