Abstract
La situation des jeunes au Québec se caractérise par une augmentation importante des heures travaillées parallèlement aux études au cours des dernières décennies. Outre des conditions sociales favorables sous l’angle institutionnel, juridique et du marché du travail, cet article montre que cette situation singulière résulte aussi des dispositions et des temporalités juvéniles. Une analyse des rapports à la vie professionnelle fait ainsi ressortir une configuration « en deux temps » des dispositions de ces jeunes. Cette configuration révèle non seulement un mode de vie et d’activité juvénile adapté au contexte de précarisation de l’emploi, mais également une intériorisation de l’injonction à la gestion individuelle des transitions.
