Abstract
L’objet de cet article est le magazine Grande Hotel, du début de sa circulation au Brésil, en 1947, jusqu’à 1961, quand le roman-photo y devient prépondérant. Il cherche à saisir les relations qu’ils entretiennent pendant la même période avec deux magazines européens : l’Italien Grand Hôtel et le Français Nous Deux. Dans le contexte plus général de production des imprimés de grande circulation, quelles sont les spécificités du Grande Hotel brésilien ? Dans les contraintes imposées par la « logique sérielle » du périodique, quel était le lecteur que visaient les éditeurs du magazine ? Les données montrent que le Grande Hotel brésilien a été produit à partir du Grand Hôtel italien et de Nous Deux, sa version française. Les modalités de cette adoption par le public restent donc à élucider.
