Abstract
Le migrant traduit dans son corps les difficultés de son acculturation. C’est à partir de cette compréhension de la dimension culturelle des maladies du migrant que l’équipe médicale peut intervenir. La Maison médicale de GRACE-HOLLOGNE, quartier populaire de Liège composé à 40 % d’habitants immigrés vise à intégrer ceux-ci dans un processus de prise en charge collective, à l’intérieur du quartier et d’une communauté. Autogestion, conseils de patients, travail de groupe, approche culturelle de la maladie physique et mentale caractérisent le fonctionnement de cette maison médicale.
