Abstract
S’inspirant d’une enquête menée auprès de femmes âgées qui n’ont pas eu d’enfants, l’auteure propose une réflexion sur l’intérêt de l’histoire orale pour redonner de l’importance aux femmes en tant qu’actrices de l’histoire. Elle aborde notamment les particularités de cette approche méthodologique lorsque les participantes sont âgées, ce qui a une incidence sur le recrutement, le choix du médium d’enregistrement et le déroulement de l’entrevue. Finalement, l’auteure présente la réflexion ayant mené au dépôt des enregistrements dans un centre d’archives, afin de rendre accessible au public ainsi qu’aux chercheurs et aux chercheuses la mémoire de ces femmes.
