En prenant pour point de départ un classique de la littérature américaine, Walden de Henry David Thoreau, Jean-François Peyret a mis en place un dispositif scénotechnique qui confronte acteurs, musique augmentée, création sonore, traitement d’images, voix de synthèse et avatars pour créer une anamorphose poétique, sonore et visuelle. Le spectacle, intitulé Re : Walden, nous invite à considérer non pas le double spéculaire, dont la figure mythique est celle de Narcisse, mais le double comme Écho, c’est-à-dire comme répétition à l’infini et accessoirement comme trouble de la mémoire, dans un monde qu’il nous faut sans cesse apprendre à habiter, sous peine de disparaître…
