Abstract
Este estudo traca um panorama da agroindustria familiar nos municipios pertencentes a microrregiao de Francisco Beltrao — sudoeste do Parana. Essa atividade contribui na geracao de emprego e renda, como tambem na melhoria das condicoes de vida das familias. Os resultados evidenciam a importância da agregacao de valor aos produtos agricolas por meio das agroindustrias familiares que, consequentemente, impulsionam o desenvolvimento local.
