Abstract
Cet article analyse l’écoute complexe dans Brume de Dieu, créé par le metteur en scène français Claude Régy en 2010, d’après le roman Les oiseaux de Tarjei Vesaas. À l’instar de l’acuité auditive extrême du protagoniste Mattis, le spectateur est amené à développer une écoute poétique eu égard à la diction singulière du comédien, à la conception sonore de Philippe Cachia, aux perceptions sensorielles rendues incertaines ainsi qu’à la qualité du silence façonné par Régy. Rythme et signifiance permettent de créer des points d’écoute dans cette puissante matière sonore, tout en les mettant à l’épreuve.
