Il s’est passé dans le camp-bidonville de Calais en quelques mois des phénomènes, certes minimalistes mais bien réels, d’aménagement de l’espace, de socialisation, d’échanges avec les habitants et de politisation des occupants, qu’on retrouve en général dans les camps contemporains, mais qui ont eu lieu ici en accéléré. L’exemple de Calais permet de nouvelles réflexions sur le lieu des Sans-État aujourd’hui, sur l’édification d’un nouveau monde dans le monde, peuplé par eux et par ceux qui les accompagnent ou les visitent.
