Abstract
À partir d’un terrain sociologique réalisé en France entre 2007 et 2012, cet article propose de réfléchir aux changements perceptibles des finalités de l’intervention sociale auprès des personnes sans domicile, au prisme du genre. Les différentes crises que traverse la société française conduisent les professionnels du social à repenser leurs pratiques et à redéfinir leurs objectifs afin de ne pas remettre en cause le sens social de leur profession. L’article démontre alors que ce travail de réélaboration se fait en jonglant entre normes traditionnelles de genre, pensées comme qualifiantes, et normes contemporaines de genre, issues du vécu des acteurs.
