Abstract
Ce manuel est le resultat de la premiere phase de l'etude Connecting literacy to community, sur l'integration dans la communaute des adultes peu a l'aise avec l'ecrit en Alberta. Le manuel s'adresse aux formatrices et aux formateurs, aux coordonnatrices et aux coordonnateurs de programmes en alphabetisation ainsi qu'aux acteurs des services sociaux, et il vise a favoriser le contact avec les groupes communautaires dans le but de partager les experiences reliees a l'acces des services sociaux et des programmes d'alphabetisation pour une clientele peu a l'aise avec l'ecrit. Il contient une description du projet Connecting literacy to community, ainsi que des pistes d'action, basees sur la documentation, la connaissance du milieu et l'intervention. Il comprend egalement une description de la recherche sur l'evolution des organisations ayant participe au projet, ainsi que des questionnaires d'evaluation pour les organisations.
