Abstract
Pauvreté, marginalité, vulnérabilité… Les changements de vocabulaire pour saisir les enjeux de la cohésion sociale ne sont pas anodins. Ils reflètent les représentations et les compréhensions de l’intégration de et à la société. Nous souhaitons alors présenter l’évolution de ces concepts jusqu’à la nouvelle piste théorique de la vulnérabilité en mettant en évidence les apports de cette dernière. Par ailleurs, ces changements de vocabulaire sont également à mettre en lien avec l’évolution du travail social. Si les mots changent, c’est également le cas des pratiques. Comment évoluent nos manières de définir et d’aider les individus en mal d’intégration? Comment se répercutent ces transformations de vocabulaire sur le travail social?
