Economie et développement durable: héritages historiques et défis actuels au sein du monde francophone
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Francophonie and economics are not often associated in common discourse. Francophone ties are normally sought in the fields of language and culture, perhaps also in international public aid to development. Rarely is the Francophone dimension present in the behaviour of firms or in the analysis of their policies outside their home borders. This book fills the void. It stresses the notion that linguistic and cultural ties do not suffice and must be complemented by economic relations in order to fulfil demand for development and jobs. It points to the French-speaking world as an important potential partner to the French economy, beset by slow growth. It strives to put forward the advantages of sustainable development in a Francophone context by way of historically oriented studies of various economic sectors. Considering that Africa is becoming a focus of rivalry pitting resource-hungry newcomers like the United States and China against the better-ensconced French, relying on Francophonie, the book could not be more timely.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
