Abstract
Se revendiquant du féminisme, composée d’apprenties chercheuses en histoire, l’association Histoire du féminisme à Rennes travaille notamment à produire de la connaissance scientifique sur l’histoire des mobilisations féministes qui ont eu lieu dans cette ville de l’ouest de France. Les résultats de recherche sont ensuite diffusés auprès de différents publics. Ils sont à la fois des supports et des prétextes pour mener des actions féministes. Ce fonctionnement associatif, entre activisme féministe et production de savoirs, est caractéristique du féminisme de la deuxième vague. Les membres de l’association n’étant pas des chercheuses officiellement reconnues par l’institution universitaire française, quelles stratégies mettent-elles en place pour que leurs travaux, qui, de surcroît, portent sur un sujet de recherche peu valorisé, voire soulevant la méfiance et le sexisme, soient reçus comme valides scientifiquement? Le projet de l’association illustre les enjeux autour de la « recherche féministe ».
