Abstract
Cette étude interroge l’effectivité de la féminisation du reportage journalistique sur les terrains de conflits, la résistance du mythe de la masculinité de cette activité, la persistance de rôles différenciés et des assignations genrées, et le solde des engagements et des bénéfices en termes de carrières professionnelle et personnelle. S’il apparaît que désormais les reporters de guerre sont souvent des femmes, la dynamique du genre, processus de différenciation et de hiérarchisation des identités, demeure à l’œuvre, pénalisant les femmes. Cette étude, appuyée sur une connaissance historique du journalisme et du reportage, est issue d’une enquête par entretien auprès d’une vingtaine de reporters en France.
