O presente artigo aborda as condicoes para efetivacao do direito das pessoas com deficiencia a educacao inclusiva. Destaca-se tambem o uso pedagogico dos recursos de tecnologia assistiva como estrategia para a promocao da acessibilidade, segundo a concepcao da educacao especial, compreendida como modalidade transversal desde a educacao infantil a superior. A partir dai, e possivel repensar as praticas educacionais, concebidas com base em um padrao de estudante, de professor, de curriculo e de gestao, redefinindo a organizacao das condicoes de infraestrutura escolar, de formacao continuada e dos recursos pedagogicos, fundamentados no principio do desenho universal.
