Abstract
Dans un contexte de globalisation de la norme nutritionnelle (manger des aliments sains ou préservant la santé), préconisée afin de réduire « les maladies chroniques non transmissibles » (maladies-cardio-vasculaires, cancer entre autres) et de favoriser le bien-être des individus, comment des personnes malades vivent-elles cette injonction sociale dans leur quotidien ? La réflexion proposée repose sur une étude anthropologique conduite en 2012 et 2013 dans un CHU au Québec sur l’expérience d’une chimiothérapie anticancéreuse pouvant induire des troubles alimentaires. La recherche a été réalisée par observations et entretiens semi-directifs auprès de soignants et de 21 femmes traitées pour un cancer gynécologique. L’article a trois objectifs. D’une part, il s’agit de montrer l’intériorisation de la norme de santé par des soignées pouvant contraster néanmoins avec la réalité de leurs comportements. D’autre part, l’intérêt est d’analyser l’expérience affective de cette norme aux effets ambivalents, puis le sens donné à une norme concurrente (manger avec plaisir) qui s’impose en cancérologie en situation de difficultés alimentaires. Cela permet d’interroger enfin la place du plaisir dans l’éducation nutritionnelle et l’expérience d’une maladie chronique, et les limites d’une norme de santé globalisée.
