Abstract
Cet article questionne les rapports entre démarche communautaire et santé. S’appuyant sur les expériences internationales (France, Québec, Burkina Faso, États-Unis, Belgique, Afrique des Grands Lacs, Tunisie, Népal…) de démarche communautaire dans différents secteurs (santé mentale, droits humains, justice environnementale, développement du territoire, santé communautaire) présentées dans les différents articles de ce numéro, cet article montre que les démarches communautaires sont vectrices de santé. En effet, parce que les démarches communautaires décrites visent plus de justice sociale par la mise en échec des oppressions et la transformation de la société, du moins des rapports de pouvoirs entre les groupes par le dialogue, elles ont aussi un effet sur les déterminants sociaux de la santé.
