Abstract
La visée de professionnalisation présente dans la réforme de la formation des enseignants du Québec de 2001 n’est pas qu’un simple principe déterminant le sens et l’organisation du curriculum de formation à l’enseignement. Elle s’incarne aussi dans un modèle d’enseignant. Pour les concepteurs du référentiel de la formation à l’enseignement, être un maître professionnel, c’est être avant tout héritier, critique et interprète de la culture. Dès lors, un maître professionnel, c’est en premier lieu un maître cultivé.
