Abstract
Chapter 6 captures my own journey as a racialized school leader working within the system to create change while at the same time seeking to disrupt and challenge injustices. It is based on my experiences as a school administrator in two large secondary schools in Southern Ontario, Canada. The chapter utilizes an autobiographical approach to capture my reflections and recollections of moments that moved me. I share the context of my work as a school leader at that time and how those experiences impact my work today. I discuss how these experiences have shaped my identity as a culturally responsive and socially just leader.
