Abstract
Le tabellionnage de Caen contient des milliers d’actes où les femmes sont présentes, soit comme actrices de premier plan, soit en arrière-plan. Le plus souvent secs et peu révélateurs de la vie quotidienne des Caennais, certains actes sont plus élaborés que d’autres. On peut alors y voir apparaître les motivations et les sentiments qui animent les contractants. Parmi ces actes, deux ont paru intéressants car, en l’absence d’enfants, ils révèlent une préoccupation des femmes pour leur lignage. L’un est un testament, celui de Perrette Lanquetil et l’autre une entente entre une femme, Jeanne de Neufmers et un parent de son lignage.
