Abstract
The article deals with the history and work of the Canadian Foundation for Aid to Russia during the World War II, the topic that is new to Russian historical science. The article presents some information about food supply to the USSR not only from the Canadian State but also from Canadian Fund to help Russia. The article considers information about big charity campaigns of the Fund, the structure of the Fund, its juridical documents, its managers, about donations and the amount donated. It presents information about the dynamics of money supply to the Fund during the war and what kind of food was sent by the Fund to the USSR and how much money was spent on it. The article gives the data on the state food supply. The bottom line of the article is about the significant contribution of Canada in addressing the food issues in the USSR during the Great Patriotic War.
