Abstract
Article is dedicated to a phenomenon of county life, which had and still hold a specific place in Russian everyday culture. During XVIII-XIX centuries, the garden function of Russian estate had accompanied its basics-household,economic,culturaletc.-with the view of to become major in XIX century last quarter. Lifestyle of cottagers, who live in county estate and numerous garden suburbs, which arose around two capitals, can be an example of healthy and highly charged leisure activities for our contemporary.
