Abstract
Le jeune, qu’on le nomme ado, préado, ou jeune adulte, constitue une catégorie instable que les langages d’indexation et les acteurs du monde du livre entreprennent de définir, notamment à travers ses pratiques de lecture. L’étude croisée du discours documentaire (en l’occurrence, le langage RAMEAU et la classification CLIL) et de celui des maisons d’édition permet de cerner les contours de la figure adoulescente et de questionner le genre, aussi bien social que littéraire. On observe in fine un marquage sexuel, à la fois dans la définition de son identité et dans la structuration de l’offre éditoriale jeunesse.
