Zusammenfassung Die meisten Gesundheitssysteme sind von einem universalistischen Diskurs geprägt, der die gleichberechtigte gesundheitliche Versorgung aller zum Ziel hat. Basierend auf einer vergleichenden Studie zur gesundheitlichen Integration von Migranten in Deutschland, Kanada und Italien geht der Artikel der Frage nach, wie die drei Länder angesichts der Herausforderungen von kultureller Diversität der gesundheitlichen Versorgung von Migranten gerecht werden.
