Abstract
The article analyzes the experience of using a language as a tool of interculturalism, which is manifested in the legislative protection status of the French language in Quebec. By positioning a language as the main load-bearing structure for a unified communication space, advocates of the adoption of the Charter of the French language used recognition of the close relationship between language and culture as a basis for progress in the field of education and acculturation of migrants. It is noted that subjects of real communication fight against artificial attempts at legislative consolidation of the monopoly of French in the field of business communication occurring in the light of the general decline in the Francophone views in the communicative space of Canada and even in Quebec.
