Élaboré par des conseillères pédagogiques québécoises, l’outil VIP définit le type de personnalité dominant d’adolescents à partir de la typologie de Holland, tout en visant à susciter et à développer leur implication dans le processus d’orientation. La présente recherche teste la validité concourante de cet outil, en comparaison avec le questionnaire Hexa 3D, sur un échantillon d’élèves français de seconde générale et technologique. Les résultats montrent que des aménagements doivent être effectués afin d’améliorer les qualités psychométriques de l’outil VIP, mais que sa forme ludique stimule les élèves, ce qui permet de le considérer comme une première activité possible pour impliquer des élèves dans un processus d’orientation.
