Abstract
The author examines the consequences of the Great Britain's decision of leaving the membership of European Union (EU), as of August 2016. Topics discussed include challenges to the Great Britain's process of withdrawing from the EU under Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union (TEU); the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA); and costs and benefits of pursuing a closer economic partnership.
