Abstract
State regulation of specific northern territories at the federal, regional and municipal levels can not be effective without the delimitation of territories. With the development of the northern territories of observed trends in approaches to zoning and zoning of the North, there are new special types of zoning and zoning. The work of Canadian researchers are related to territorial entities smaller dimension: regions of meso and micro-level and have an applied nature, zoning results are used for state regulation of the territories. It was revealed that this tool of macroeconomic analysis reveals the tourist macro zones, the boundaries of which are mobile and change with the development of areas of the economy. Tourist zoning makes it possible to develop an effective program for the development of tourist areas in view of their tourist potential and degree of development.
