Abstract
Certains auteurs affirment qu’il est nécessaire de prendre en considération les caractéristiques des nouvelles générations afin d’adopter des pratiques managériales plus adaptées et plus efficaces. En entrepreneuriat, il est fort à parier que ces caractéristiques ont également un impact sur les motivations à entreprendre et sur la façon dont ces nouvelles générations vivent leur vie d’entrepreneur. Cet article présente les résultats d’une étude québécoise visant à dresser le portrait des nouvelles générations d’entrepreneurs (les X et les Y). Pour ce faire, nous les avons entre autres comparés à la génération de référence, soit celle des baby-boomers.
