Abstract
Dieser Beitrag untersucht die differenziellen Effekte von Sachkonflikten, Verteilungskonflikten und Widerstand auf die Implementierung von Verfahrensinnovationen in Organisationen. Es wird u. a. argumentiert, dass durch Verfahrensinnovationen induzierte Sachkonflikte einerseits die Implementierung fördern, andererseits aber auch behindern können. Durch Verfahrensinnovationen induzierte Verteilungskonflikte wirken sich dagegen durchgehend und gravierend negativ auf die Implementierung aus. Diese Annahmen wurden in einer bundesweiten standardisierten Befragung von Führungskräften aus Organisationen unterschiedlicher Größe und Branche durch die Anwendung einer linearen Strukturgleichungsmodellierung überprüft. Alle Indikatoren der Anpassungsgüte verweisen auf eine gute Passung des Modells mit direkten und indirekten Effekten der Konfliktarten und des Widerstands auf die Implementierung. Verteilungskonflikte haben den stärksten Negativeffekt auf die Implementierung.
