Abstract
L’action en planification a été traditionnellement présentée comme un substitut aux lois sociales qui, autrement, détermineraient l’évolution de la réalité sur laquelle portera l’action. Dans cette perspective, la connaissance scientifique de ces lois sociales s’avère être un enjeu déterminant du fondement de l’action en planification. L’auteur se propose ici de montrer comment les pratiques planificatrices, malgré un discours et des allures de scientificité, puisent leur fondement dans une diversité de champs de connaissances aux statuts cognitifs fort différents.
