Abstract
The author describes the history and present developments in "Affilia: Journal of Women and Social Work." Topics discussed include concerns over the state of feminism and women's rights in the U.S. since the 2016 presidential elections, the role of "Affilia" in promoting feminism as part of social work research since its launch in 1986, and the need for a radical epistemological inquiry in the feminist social work research.
