The paper presented the state-of-the-art Bridgeless Power Factor Correction (BPFC) topologies for mitigating the common-mode (CM) voltage. Based on the CM voltage mitigation performance, the reviewed topologies are classified into four different groups: electrical isolation, semiconductor clamped, passive component clamped and hybrid clamped. The topologies review are provided based on comparing the topologies operation, device selection criteria and the noise of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated from the topologies. To analyze the EMI performance of the topology, where high frequency (HF) equivalent circuit models are applied and the corresponding CM noise circuit equation are formulated. A 300W BPFC prototype is used to verify the theoretical analysis by measured the CM voltage and grid current quality in different topologies. The results show that the reviews contents and the analysis models have a good agreement with the experimental findings.
